The groom in the swanky suit was none other than Jean-Charles Boisset, best known in Sonoma County as the owner of DeLoach in Santa Rosa and abroad, as the scion of France’s third largest wine company.

The couple was married on Sept. 26th in a private ceremony at the Fairmont Hotel’s penthouse suite, with an expansive view of San Francisco. There were about 100 people to witness the vows, with the guest list weighted to the large Gallo family.

The bride is well known in Sonoma County as the face of E&J Gallo, America’s largest winery, and she’s also a winemaker at Gallo Sonoma. Gallo is the granddaughter the late Julio Gallo and grand niece of the late Ernest.

Boisset is the president of U.S. Boisset Family Estates, which owns a range of properties in the U.S., including the recently acquired Raymond Vineyard & Cellar in St. Helena. The company is the American arm of Boisset, La Famille des Grands Vins, the largest winery in Burgundy, which recently acquired Burgundian producer Antonin Rodet.
