Every once in a while I taste a wine that is so striking I have to tell everyone I come in contact with about it. That’s the case with the Williams Selyem, 2007 Windsor Oaks Vineyard, Late Harvest Russian River Valley Muscat.

The wine is rich and supple and yet it has good acid. It’s floral with notes of honeysuckle, pineapple and honey, and it has a silky texture.

It’s a talker, that wine.
