At the Sonoma County Harvest Fair popular brews will be right alongside the winning wines from the competition for the first time at the Grand Tasting this weekend.
Beer-lovers will want to peruse this list, even though brews from these spots won’t have the pedigree of a medal coming from a rigorous 3-day wine competition.
101 North Brewing Company
Dempsey’s Restaurant & Brewery
Bear Republic Brewing Company
Fogbelt Brewing Company
Henhouse Brewing Company
Moonlight Brewing Company
Lagunitas Brewing Company
And for cider-lovers, Ace Cider will be in the mix.
Tasting Pavilion Tickets are $50 per person and a ticket comes with perks. It offers tasters a chance to also try winners from this year’s Professional Food Competition. Some of the winning restaurants in the culinary competition are also offering up treats.
The Grand Tasting is Friday at the Grace Pavilion from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The Sonoma County Fairgrounds is at 1350 Bennett Valley Road in Santa Rosa.
